Commissions Pricing

A note about my pricing . . . . . .

Many artists agonise about how much to charge, myself included. Each commission drawing takes on average 25 to 30 hours, some of them upwards of 35 hours. My prices are a reflection of my time, where I am in my development, the materials used and the value I put on myself.

I also believe that art should be accessible to everyone. I'm really happy to offer payments by instalments, so long as 50% of the cost is paid before I start the drawing. Please just email me if you would like to pay by instalments.

UK Delivery

I currently only send to the UK.

Your portrait will be well packaged and will be sent via Royal Mail tracked and signed for service.

The delivery charge is £7.50, unless you would like to collect.

Drawings in my Online Shop:

Some of the pieces in my online shop have been drawn as part of a group drawing session or tutorial. These pieces are priced lower than equivalent sized original pieces I've drawn and commissioned portraits. Whilst they are original drawings, they are not 'one-off' pieces. The lower prices also reflect the fact much of the decision-making has been done for me - composition, line art, colour choices. In some cases, the drawings were relatively quick to produce and I've also taken this into account.
