When I was a child, I was always happiest when I was drawing or colouring but never pursued it as a career. My working life was spent mainly in HR and after retraining at KLC School of Design, I began working for a local interior design company and spent 12 happy years there.

Like many people, I re-evaluated my work/life balance during the pandemic and I decided that I wanted to spend more time doing things which gave me enjoyment, rather than employment and I stopped working in 2022.

I didn’t really know what I wanted to do but I knew it had to be something creative, so I invested in some watercolours and coloured pencils and went back to what had given me happiness as a child – art!
